Charlotte Market Snapshot Here’s what’s happening in the Charlotte, NC real-estate scene this week:   According to data from Redfin covering the Charlotte market, the median sale price in October 2025 was $422,975, up 1.6 % year-over-year. Homes took about 61 days on the market, compared to 50 days a year earlier.   Meanwhile, the Zillow Home Values Index puts the typical home value around $394,339, representing a drop of about 1.4 % over the past year.   Inventory is slowly growing: the statewide report from North Carolina REALTORS® notes October’s snapshot shows more supply and modest price increases.   What it means: The market in Charlotte is stabilizing. Homes aren’t shooting off the market like during the peak of the seller’s market, but demand remains steady. If you’re a buyer, you have a little more breathing room.
